Please reserve your time to attend our Accreditation Day Conference, which will again take place at Brdu pri Kranju, on 7 December 2016.

This year’s event will be created by the Slovenian Accreditation staff in cooperation with external experts. Our this year’s foreign guest comes from ITaly from Italy. He is Director of certification and inspection section by Accredia (Italian accreditation body) and also Vice President of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).

We will make sure that you are updated on new developments in the field of accreditation, and also add some other interesting information.

In anticipation of a revision of ISO/IEC 17025, which is announced for summer 2017, we will try to indicate to you the direction the changes are expected to take, and how we envisage the transition to take place.

At the Accreditation Day Conference, we will also talk about measurement uncertainty, with particular focus on internal calibrations.

By making reference to accreditation, a conformity assessment body tells us about what has been tested, calibrated, inspected, certified or verified, in compliance with accreditation requirements. This is another important topic we are going to tackle.

We will try to demonstrate, in an interesting manner, the accreditation procedure, its steps and the importance of good cooperation between SA and the accredited body.

We will conclude the event in the same spirit, by a lecture on the general importance of cooperation and on motivation.
