You are cordially invited to join us for Accreditation Day, which will be held again this year at Brdo pri Kranju, on 6 December 2017.

The event will be co-created by the Slovenian Accreditation staff and external experts. This year’s foreign guest comes from COFRAC, the French accreditation body. We will make sure that you are updated on new developments in the field of accreditation, and also add some other interesting information.

The first part of the event will focus on construction, since this year’s World Accreditation Day was entitled ‘Accreditation: Delivering Confidence in Construction and the Built Environment’. Standards, conformity assessment and accreditation are tools that can be used in the construction sector to cover construction products and materials, construction techniques and practices, on-site health and safety, environmental impact, and even the use of digital technology in smart buildings.

In the second part of the event we will inform you of developments in the field of accreditation. In 2017, Slovenian Accreditation granted its first two accreditations in the field of certification of qualified trust service providers under the eIDAS Regulation. The development of accredited medical laboratories is at the stage of concluding. Also, the vote on the new ISO/IEC 17025 is concluded; the standard will be issued shortly. All this will be discussed at the event.

We will conclude the event by a lecture on how happiness and satisfaction in life influence our psychophysical health and the hormonal balance in our body.
